Our Founding
In 1996 Debra Alexander and a handful of women from the Fifield area started The Santa's Elves Foundation to help bring Christmas to the homes of families who were struggling to make ends meet. It began with one giving tree in the Fifield Post Office where the ladies hung tags for community members to take and purchase gifts.
This initial core group took care of wrapping and delivering to families throughout the community. Llewella Wangerin and her business DW Ring & Wire was the first business outside of the Post Office to host a Giving Tree.
Our Mission and Vision
Mission
Provide holiday Joy to families and individuals who are financially qualified. Gifts are provided to children birth to 17 years of age. Residents of Price and Southern Ashland Counties to Glidden are served.
Vision
We continue to identify other opportunities to serve those in need throughout Price County and Southern Ashland County to Glidden. Our vision is to expand services to other portions of our population as well as identifying other types of need that exist. Our History
Our mission is to provide holiday gifts and other necessities to the Children of families going through financial hardship throughout Price County and Southern Ashland County to Glidden.
Through the tireless work of our completely volunteer team, Santa’s Elves has been working to fulfill this mission since 1996 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. 100% of all funds from fundraising activities, individual and business donations as well as holiday giving trees located in several area businesses support our mission statement.
